I've been studying growth leadership recently and find that these often invisible-but-perceived cultural roadblocks are often impediments to growth within a corporation. You might be interested in a book I just read - "The Catalyst" - which deals with many of the ideas that you've mentioned in this posting. It specifically examines the cases of many exemplary leaders who have overcome the "corporate culture" to facilitate growth. A great read! Thanks Stephen!
